Our current windows XP/ vista / win 7 has no such feature like shutting down the PC after a specific period of time say for example 30 min.
So if you need to shutdown your computer automatically after 30min or 10min or what ever you like then this article is for you..
You need to use a little programming code here it is.
Now run the file that you have just created. It will shutdown your PC automatically after 1800 seconds or 30 minutes
If you want to shut your PC down after 10 min then just edit 1800 to 600. That's it....

- Open a notepad
- just type "shutdown -s -f -t 1800"
- Save it "shutdown.bat" or anything you like but make sure that the file ends with ".bat". It means the file extension must be .bat.
